4th International Symposium on TArgeted Radiotherapy and Dosimetry (ISTARD)
in conjunction with the Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) in Milan, Italy, October 27 - 31, 2012

⇒ Abstract submission deadline extended to April 19, 2012
⇒ Abstracts should be submitted choosing the topic "Radionuclide Therapy & Dosimetry"
Following the ISTARD tradition, the authors of the 15 best ranked abstracts submitted for the topic “Radionuclide Therapy and Dosimetry” will have the opportunity to publish their results after the Congress as a short paper of 4 printed pages in the “Quarterly Journal of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging”. The selection will be made by the ISTARD steering committee and by the Journal editorial board.
For ISTARD the following plenary sessions are planned:
➢ The past is not prologue: how do we achieve individualized treatment in oncology
➢ Teaching course for physicists: quantification and dose calculation in nuclear medicine therapy
➢ Radiobiology in nuclear medicine therapy
➢ Open questions in radiopeptide therapy
➢ Microsphere liver treatment
➢ Alpha emitters in nuclear medicine therapy
All organizational matters will be handled by the EANM Executive Secretariat and Congress Office. All announcements and other mailings for this meeting will be done electronically (no paper mail will be sent).
