Continuing Medical Education
Continuing Medical Education will span all 4 days of the EANM Congress 2012. As in the past years, EANM will seek accreditation from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). A request for accreditation has already been filed – number of points pending. By virtue of a reciprocal agreement between EACCME and the American Medical Association (AMA), the credits granted by EACCME are recognized as Physician’s Recognition Award by the AMA.
In order to provide the EANM CME programme with a thematic focus and clinical input while maintaining a broad spectrum of education, there will be three categories of CME sessions: the white-column sessions feature a broad spectrum of topics over a period of 3 – 4 years. The orange-column sessions have a clinical/oncological focus, which will be complemented by the interactive sessions in the blue column.
